Childcare

Officers

Each pupil has a dedicated SEMH Keyworker allocated to them. The Keyworker’s role is to be the contact point at the school for each of their named children.

They provide nurture for their particular group, act as contacts for parents with routine problems, and liaise between parents, teachers and other agencies and professionals in implementing specific programmes.

SEMH Keyworkers are responsible for each child’s ISP (Individual Support Plan).

This covers all aspects of his social/emotional development, is centered on EHCP and Thrive progress targets and involves the child and yourselves as parents in achieving progress.

The work of the Care Staff and Teaching staff is clearly complementary both internally and with other external agencies.  All our staff work together to contribute towards and facilitate the development and eventual reintegration of children into home and society.
