Curriculum Enhancement,
Project Weeks & Trips
The curriculum at Bure Park extends far beyond the National Curriculum offer within the classroom. All students access a weekly Curriculum Enhancement session where they are able to work on the skills that will allow them to build dependable relationships with peers and adults. These skills are then transferred into the classroom and allow for students to further their readiness for learning by creating and enhancing cohesive class groups.
This is done through a range of different and tailored activities that focus on the needs of the class group as established through Thrive assessments in primary, and the use of the Personal Development Framework in secondary.
Students are also able to experience success away from the formal classroom setting and develop skills that will allow them to become happy and self-fulfilling adults.
